About Us

Helton's Home Furnishings started out as a custom upholstery business serving Laclede county and the surrounding area. Since 1983, we have been offering Mid-Missouri quality home furnishings while continue to expand our business.

We are located at 455 N. Jefferson, Lebanon, MO.

Mid-1960's

Bob's Custom Upholstery Begins

1972

Gary Don Helton and Larry Helton become stakeholders in Bob's Custom Upholstery

1983

Bob's Custom Upholstery begins to offer La-Z-Boy Recliners and Sofas for sale

1986

The Heltons expand their inventory to offer Justice Furniture brand products while still focusing on the custom upholstery business

1992

Helton's Home Furnishings expands their business. After the expansion, sales doubled

1994

Due to tremendous growth the Heltons add yet another expansion to their location in the 400 block of Jefferson Street in Lebanon

1998

After much thought, the Heltons quit the upholstery part of their business to focus entirely on home furnishing sales

2000

2000 brought about an extensive expansion of the business to include a two story addition to the existing location, wtih the first floor being dedicated to additional showroom space and the second story to a warehouse for additional inventory

2006

With business continuing to grow, Heltons Home Furnishings completed an offsite warehouse consisting of over 4,750 sq. ft. of space and 18 ft. walls to house inventory. A 4,500 sq. ft. bedroom furnishings showroom was added to the existing business location.
