Care & Cleaning
Cleaning/Installation: If spills occur, blot as much of the stain as possible with a clean cloth. Use a small amount of mild soap and water to gently clean the area. Avoid the use of excessive water. Do not use harsh cleansers on wool, such as bleach or alkali. Blot dry quickly with clean cloth to limit yellowing or browning that can naturally occur with damp wool. Excessive agitation and heat should be avoided. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading. All wool rugs shed. Shedding will decline over time. Periodic professional cleaning is recommended. The use of a rug pad is recommended. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading, initial shedding is normal and will decline over time.
